World Impact Intro

Brief: Create a 15 second Intro that can be used at the opening to profiles produced in-house by World Impact. Their should be 6 different endings created to reflect the 6 major regions they conduct projects for.

Review: This was a bit of fun. We used some of the footage we recorded mid last year in Cambodia and Thailand and got a little creative. There were a few sleepless nights, but it was totally worth it.

Home of the Open Heart

Brief: Create a promotional video that highlights who Home of the Open Heart is and what they do in a generic profile that can be sent out to raise awareness and support.

Review: Penny and Paul do an amazing job at running Home of the Open Heart and the team was amazed at the genuine love and joy evident in the children and staff involved. Despite getting horribly sick from a water parasite I caught in Cambodia, we managed to come home from Thailand some great footage, photos and memories. Cold Fire Intro

Brief: Create a 30 second intro with a 30 second tail that can be placed at the start of other video clips produced for the company. It should highlight that Cold Fire is good for the environment.

Review: It was fun to put together such a melodramatic intro and even after watching it so many times I still enjoy the simple stillness and serenity at the end. A fun project and a great product. For more information about Cold Fire you can go here.

Motov8 Promo

Brief: Create a 30 second promotional video to raise awareness of Motov8 as an organization.

Review: It’s a tough ask to work on a project involving fast bikes and a great cause. But we struggled through it. Motov8 is a great organization and well worth considering inviting to your next social gathering.

Journey Ad #3

Brief: Create a sequence of 5 Ads to promote an upcoming women's conference.

Review: Filming the Kombi sequences was pretty fun. Despite the sketchy weather conditions on the day it turned out well. This was one of a sequence of ads that had a little narrative to it. The Ads worked well and the actual running of the conference, which we were also involved with, was a huge success. Click here to view some photos. Over two thousand women attended and experienced a huge amount of personal growth as a result. It was a pleasure to be involved.

Shift - Redline Intro Live

As a direct continuation from the previously uploaded Shift Redline Intro, Pete from Peter David Design created a motion graphic sequence to the backing track of the opening item that the Shift Redline Intro led into. We then did a camera mix whilst keying the motion graphic sequence over the top. As a stand-alone video it looks ok, but as an aesthetic element in a live production combined with lights and stage presence, it was hugely effective (plus a bit of fun).

Dare Conference Intro

Brief: Create a video to open the Dare Womens Conference and highlight the theme of Joy.

Review: The video came up well and was a great success. All the filming sessions went well, the actors were great and the biggest problem we had was Pete setting off a security alarm. Good times.

Shift - Redline Intro

Brief: Create a video to open a Mens Conference on the theme of Shift. The video was to be the first thing played and lead straight in to an onstage instrumental.

Review: Despite the early morning everything went pretty well. The weather was nice and overcast till we finished the very last shot. Then the sun came streaming down and would have changed the entire feel of it. Thankfully we didn’t need to keep shooting.

Peter David Design also created a motion graphic ending that continued after this video for about 3 minutes. This motion graphic tied in with the opening song of the conference. On the night, I did a live mix of the cameras whilst at the same time keying Pete’s motion graphic over the top. On stage the guitars were rocking a string section was pumping along and together with this opening video and the created motion graphics - it kicked off the conference very strongly. It looked pretty cool. To take a look check it out here

Brief: The client desired a two minute video to be produced to raise awareness of a new project they had recently begun.

Review: For the budget and time we had to put this together we are really happy with how it has come up. It’s simple yet we were able to bring some dynamic text and give the footage a cool spy-glass sort of feel. We hope project is incredibly successful as the work they appear to be doing is fantastic!

Dare Girl Montage

Brief: Produce a video montage of highlights from the day and play it at the beginning of the final session of the conference.

Review: Talk about tight turn around! The day began at 9:00am and we had to do all the filming, editing, motion graphics and burning by 7:00pm as everything happened around us. We made it with 30 minutes to spare and (considering what we were doing) are quite happy with the result. A good challenge with a good result. Did I mention there were only two people working on this project?!
